Post Season Reminder
Post
season will start Saturday October 25, 08 and the following
is the 2008 Post Season Seeding System. Seeding, opponent,
location, and game time will be announced no later than
Monday 10/20/08 by 5:00pm. (All
location scheduling will be based on league need first, not
solely seeding.)
Note*
Teams who wish to add a GEYF lower level player and or
players from within area to their current team roster must
notify the league office, apposing head coach and respective
GEYF Area Representative by 5:00pm the Monday preceding each
post season game. Failure to do so will result in lack of
eligibility for the proposed players for that week’s game.

Note*
Any
player, who plays a minimum of one play with an upper level
team during regular and or post season play, will be unable
to return to the lower level.
GEYF
Teams seeded (1) through (4) in all divisions will have the
opportunity to advance with a victory in the 1st
Round of Post Season.

In the
event of a tie record:

(3) In the event of a multiple tie with all teams in
division beating each other respectively and having the same
in conference record, GEYTF will look at overall record
including out of conference games. The team or teams with
the best overall record including out of conference play
will receive the higher seed.
Phase
(4) if all respective teams have identical overall
records and have beaten each other respectively, we will go
to the most points allowed in Conference scenario. The team
and or teams that have allowed the fewest points scored in
conference will receive the higher seed.
Phase
(5) if all respective teams have identical overall
records and have beaten each other respectively and have all
allowed the same points in conference we will go to the most
points scored offensively in conference scenario. The team
and or teams that have scored the most points offensively in
conference will receive the higher seed.
Phase
(6) if phase 1 through 5 cannot break the tie, then GEYF
will go to a multi – party coin toss with the odd man out.
