Tehachapi Tomahawks to Hold
Spring Drills in April and May
Tehachapi Youth Football (TYF) will conduct
spring drills in April and May. The drills are
scheduled on Saturday mornings from 9:00AM 0
11:00AM. The dates are April 5th, 12th,
19th 26th, May3rd & 10th.
The location will be at the home field of the
Tomahawks, located at Benz-Visco Youth and
Cultural Park. The park is on Tehachapi Willow
Springs Road just south of Highway 58.
A parent or guardian must report to the snack
bar no later than 8:30AM to fill out a medical
waiver allowing their player candidate to
participate in the drills. This only has to be
done the first time a player candidate attends.
That waiver will cover all remaining drills.
The spring drills are voluntary and held at no
cost. The player candidates will have the
opportunity to learn and improve basic football
skills. They will meet some of the Tomahawk’s
coaches and more than likely make some new
friends. There will be no direct physical
contact between players at these drills. There
will be air bags, blocking bags and some other
equipment used in the drills. Player candidates
who are available on any of the above dates and
times are encouraged to attend. Football is a
very competitive sport. Preparing yourself
early is a smart thing to do.
Football cleats are appropriate or tennis shoes
will get you through for now. Dress according
to the weather conditions. Football is played
in any weather during the season, however if it
rains hard or snows, that drill day will be
cancelled.
The Tomahawk coaching staff is looking forward
to seeing you at spring drills. We are very
excited about the coming season. We have a
great football tradition in Tehachapi and
welcome you to try out this season. Please read

same edition.

REFUND POLICY |
If a player quits or is cut prior to
uniforms being issued, a refund of
registration fees minus $15.00 will be
issued. There will be no refunds to
anyone once uniforms are issued on July
28th. All transactions are
final.

CHECK POLICY |
$25.00 will be charged on checks that do
not clear. The entire transaction
including the original fee and the
$25.00 charge will be in cash only.
Tomahawks require commitment by all
involved. Everyone needs to do their
part to keep the organization strong.
